We encourage men and women to perform this mitzvah. Ushering includes checking tickets, helping people to their seats, handing out or collecting prayer books and assisting in maintaining order throughout the building during services. This is a great way to get involved at the Temple and start the New Year off with a mitzvah. Please sign up to volunteer as a Temple Emanuel usher during the 2022 High Holy Days. A few days prior to the holidays you will receive Ushering Guidelines via email. Please understand that requests for specific locations cannot be guaranteed.
